Overview
The town of Munnar is located in Kerala, an Indian state, amid the Western Ghats mountain range. Surrounded by undulating hills filled with late 19th-century tea plantations, this hill station was formerly a popular retreat for the British Raj’s elite. In addition to the 2,695-meter-tall Anamudi Peak and the Lakkam Waterfalls, Eravikulam National Park is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr mountain goat.
